South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon was at the Tesco
store in Diss to present equipment to four local schools as part of the
Tesco Computers for Schools scheme.
Staff and pupils from Bressingham Primary School, Diss Junior School, Roydon Primary School and Scole Primary School received the equipment which included digital cameras and digital microscopes. Parents, friends and relations save vouchers from Tesco stores which are then used by schools to apply for the equipment. This varies from computer games to complete computer systems depending on the number of vouchers collected. Mr Bacon said: “This is a great way for parents, family and friends to help their local school obtain brand new computer equipment and I congratulate everyone involved”. 24 October 2008
