Hopkinson of Norfolk Constabulary, and a number of South Norfolk Councillors including Harleston Town Councillor Ron Johnson. The main problem centres on speeding in Mendham Lane and motorists making wrong turns from Exchange Street on to the road. The problem is made worse by heavy lorries using Mendham Lane as a route into the town centre. These issues have all been highlighted by Harleston resident Jennie Mason whose son Andrew was killed when he was hit by a 90-year-old driver two years ago. Mr Bacon said: “Harleston is such a lovely little market town. It's a pity that traffic problems like these can make it difficult and in some cases even dangerous for residents to get around. Come along and have your say to make a safer Harleston”.
