Meteorological Masts are erected to measure wind speed prior to a planning application for a wind farm being submitted
|
South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon has written to Mr Richard Cooper, Senior Planning Officer at South Norfolk Council, to register his objections to a planning application for a 60 metre meteorological mast near Pulham St Mary. The application was made as part of proposals for a three-turbine windfarm at the old Pulham airfield.

Mr Bacon said: “I have written to Mr Cooper to register my strong objections to plans for a 60 metre meteorological mast on the old Pulham airfield.” “Residents need to register their objections by Wednesday 8 April 2009. I would urge any local residents who have not already contacted the council with their views to do so as soon as possible.” 27 March 2009
