MP welcomes swift start to Diss power upgrade |

SOUTH NORFOLK MP Richard Bacon has welcomed the good progress made by EDF Energy in their £200,000 scheme to overhaul Diss's ageing power supplies. Mr Bacon was taken on a helicopter tour of overhead power lines, before meeting the project team working on Skelton Road in Diss. |

Mr Bacon said: “EDF Energy know that the people of Diss are not happy with the reliability of power supplies to the town over the years and I think they themselves have accepted that it has not been good enough”. “However, EDF Energy are clearly working hard to improve power supplies to Diss.
