Lord Hall at the New Agenda City Dinner

Tony Hall, D-G of the BBC at the New City Agenda dinner (Tuesday 27 January at 1 Great George Street) said:

1. Remember what you are there for.

2. Identify the talent that will keep you at the top.

3. Organisations should be porous. Work with others.

4. Look outwards - and the bigger your organisation, the more you need to look outwards. Hang on to the values that makes you what you are while responding to change.

5. Mixed funding models have to be about the opportunity they bring, not the security they afford.
